De-badge? Yay or nay?

I debadged my Vibe on a hot day with floss. I'll eventually do it for the Sonic, but not until they become more common. I am proud to show off what I've got

I think I am going to give it a try. I don't think I would mind just the "Sonic LTZ" emblems, but something about that red turbo emblem just gets to me. I do agree that they look very clean de-badged. But I also would hate to be mistaken for a non-LTZ. Lol.

I debadged mine right after I bought it (I do it to all my cars), looks way better (cleaner), but I left the "TURBO" badge on cuz I love turbo cars (this is my third one in a row). Since I did it, everyone always asks me what kind of car is it, I freaking love it, it's too new for anyone to recognize it without any fugly badges out back lmao! Just plastidip the gold part black on the bowtie cuz it'll leave an ugly hole if removed (trust me, I've already tried). ****ing made a damn dent doing it too, hella pissed me off!

P.S.-Oh by the way, removing the nice turbo badge instantly kills all your hp/tq it gives you, so I'd advise against such an action. If you wanted a 1.8L NA then you should've got one, otherwise be proud to advertise the awesome boosted power hahaha!!!

I knew about the holes behind the bowtie. That's why I dipped mine white. Front and rear.

And I will see how it looks as I go along with de-badging. Maybe the turbo emblem will grow on me... Then again....Maybe not...

I debaged mine.. It is personal preference but i like it.. It looks much cleaner but I also dont have the turbo :/

Did my LTZ on Sunday, over here in the UK.
As everyone says, looks much cleaner, also stops all the crud from clinging to the lettering.
Just used a hairdryer and some waterless wash to remove what was left of the glue.

Guess what...I just relocated my turbo badge too, but I put mine right under the Chevy bowtie (in the middle/dead center). Looks way better now (should've been there from the start imho) cuz it just looked out of place all by itself on the right side ever since I debadged everything else. My OCD likes things unified, so it's perfect for me. I love being unique!

I plan on debadging today actually. I'm going to move the turbo badge to the front grill n see if I like it. I want to get another sonic badge n use the S and make an SS badge. It'll b a sooper sonic!

[Black Turbo LTZ]

I removed everything off my hatch(sonic LTZ, Turbo, and the chevy emblem), and since its going in for paint for a small rust spot on the hatch I'm asking the dealer to weld the 2 little guide holes shut so the hatch is fully shaved.

So I am considering removing the factory Sonic LTZ and Turbo emblems. I honestly think the turbo one is a little gaudy. But that's just me. Anyone else think it will look better badgeless? And will a little heat and fishing line do the trick?

I removed the "SONIC LTZ" the morning after I got my car, but I left the turbo badge on because I like it.

The letters came off easily with my fingers and then I used some decal remover to get rid of the glue residue.
