The whole point of buying a car is so you can do what you want with it. People who like to leave things stock for warranty can. Those of us who want to play with it aren't going to cry to Chevy if we break something due to what we did. Personally I I couldn't mod the sonic I never would have bought it as fun as it is stock it's lacking. And to those who ask why I didn't just get a better car it's because they didn't come in hatch back or where not able to be gotten for a reasonable price point. The sonic is a cheap yet functional hatch with lots of potential for fun.

Just face it, the Sonic ain't no damn bigass V10 heat maker, all this extra venting stuff is pointless, focus on better things than unnecessary mods, if it needed one it would have one just like an Evo or STi. Once again I laugh at how much this car is trying to be transformed into some kind of fast race car by everyone on here, it's already good stock, I like having my warranty valid thank you very much!

You my good sir are simply wrong. I could ramble on for paragraphs about how wrong you are and why but just take my word for it. And let me put it like this...

Chevy built this car to cheap.. cheap to get/manu parts for, cheap to assemble, cheap cheap cheap. Also chevy built this car to be idiot proof.. to run the cheapest gas you can buy and go ages without an oil change, etc, etc, ...

Anyone that is willing to attend the car correctly and use premium fuel can get a lot more performance without sacrificing logevity.

Some people are completely happy with bone stock cars.

For example, to my gf anything with 4 wheels is a car. They are all the same, they all look the same, and they all do the same thing.

To me, a stock car is boring as SH*T! I don't care if it was built to be an economy car, a race car, a utility vehicle, I want to get the most out of it that I can. I want it to be MY car and reflect me. Hence all my stickers already and custom plate in the mail (among other mods).

SO, enjoy your bone stock car as a daily driver, while I customize mine to how I want my car be.
