I like hill hold but I wish it were more sensitive, the "maybe it will work and maybe it won't" nature of it and the rather extreme angle you need for it to engage means I can't actually rely on it. The two second rule means I can always roll back if I want, just by waiting two seconds; disconcerting if you weren't expecting it but fine if you are. Rolling back out of a parking space I use frequently, it's no problem. BUT in a strange space, or more to the point, on a strange hill in traffic with some jackhole parked up my... jackhole... I really have to pretend it isn't there, so it's pointless.
I guess I mean I like the idea of the assist, but not how it currently picks whether to engage.
Is that software adjustable? Or can we come up with a lifehack to change it? Say, for example, just tilting the sensor, so it needs an 8 degree angle to engage rolling forward but a 2 degree angle is enough to engage it rolling back?

I have not, but there's no reason to think it could be added to a Trifecta tune, it almost certainly uses a different computer than the one that runs the engine... if it uses a computer at all. This sort of system has been around since the 1930s, long before computers, and can be done mechanically. I don't know how the Sonic is doing it, so maybe there's a computer involved... but we have a dozen or so computers on board running different things.

They're all controlled by one computer.
I'd say it would certainly be possible through the car's computer but it's probably locked away with other safety features as a protection for the end user.

Window Auto Down/Up
This may be common knowledge but I recently discovered it. I would try to roll my window down a little and it would start to fully open. I always tried to pull the button up to stop it. Then it would go all the way up again (most of the time).
If you push down to open, just push down 1 more time to stop it...

I was on the slightest of inclines today and the hill assist kicked in.
It felt strange as I've never had it on previous cars.
I've only had my RS a few days and I'm noticing more nice little touches every time I drive it.

The auto Up is what REALLY worries me. I have lil kids running around the cars, having fun, while we wash it. I don't even like the possibility of one hanging on the window while someone plays with the buttons.
I know it's unlikely, I just cringe at the thought though. Odds are, someday, somewhere. I think it's a lawsuit waiting to happen... Hope Not....

An iphone 5, 5c, or 5s in a case will fit perfectly into the little storage area closest to you steering wheel. I mean perfectly—like it's a built in dock. Maybe this isn't a secret, because I'm almost certain it's no accident. Every time a friend gets in that hasn't been in the car before sees me stick my 5s in there, they lose their minds and wish they had a built in dock. I love it.

If you push or pull the switch only half-way, the auto up/ down doesn't kick in. Push or pull the switch carefully—you'll feel that there is a halfway point in the action of the switch. Sorta like a camera's shutter button

The auto up has a safety feature that stops and reverses at the slightest amount of pressure. Try it.

You may want to try it with a hot dog or something similar. I'd hate to have my finger in there if it didn't work the way it should. Also you may want something that can't break the window if it doesn't work.

Actually, that's the first thing I did. But when I pulled down, it kept going, so I didn't think it had a safety built in. Maybe it's my girly arms
. I will try again, maybe with someone else's fingers. Or a carrot.... I am going to go try now. Gotta move it anyway, for the snow coming... again... grrrrrr

I'd really hate to have my finger, or something similar, in there if it didn't work.
I tried it, and it worked, but not well....
If I hung on the window, it didn't reverse. If I tapped it sharply, it did seem to reverse each time.
I tried a hotdog roll, a little on the stale side that I was going to feed the birds. (Still in bag to avoid a mess).
It seemed to work if there was a few inches left, and the window was in motion.
But if it was only an inch or two away, it didn't seem to care and a few times squished it.
I REALLY don't trust it around little kids. They hang onto things and don't let go. This may make a recall list someday.
