New LTZ Turbo Hatch Owner

Hello! We just got our baby a couple of weeks ago--we were going to hold out for the RS (!!!) but I got WAY TOO GOOD of a deal at work and we had to buy before the end of this month to take advantage of it. We got the LTZ Turbo with leatherette, sunroof, heated seats/mirrors, bluetooth, mudflaps... every available feature as far as I know.

We won't be doing any modifications (that's what our Mustang is for! ) and to us the Sonic is basically a "baby" Equinox... we need the ability to haul around our dogs, haul around artwork/gardening things/instruments/etc, commute and go on road trips. It fits the bill in every way. It couldn't be a more comfortable driving experience and it DEFINITELY does not feel or drive like a small car.

It's our first brand new car so we plan to maintain the heck out of it and fix anything and everything. I work in the same plaza as a Chevrolet dealership so I'll try to be helpful with any tips where I can.

I'm excited to be a member of the forums so we can all compare our experiences as the cars age--I really think Chevy hit a home run with this one but only time will tell!

Are you referring to Lujack Chevrolet as the dealership? We purchased one of the first LTZ Sonics Lujack had available last October. We really like both of our LTZ Sonics; I agree with your observation that these cars don't feel like you're driving a small B segment vehicle. The ride, handling, and interior ergonomics are impressive.
