If the RS is priced too high it will no longer be such a great deal anymore, since my car is basically the same minus the special parts, which I can probably get for cheaper instead of buying a whole new car. It don't look that radical & it has the same hp/tq as me but with more weight. I personally don't like leather interior either, but those seats & the all black coloring is sick. If it was more powerful (faster) & had a widebody kit for the "Rally Sport" spirit THEN I'd consider trading in for it, but as of right now I'm VERY happy with my decision cuz I love driving my Sonic, satisfies me every time!

Positives:
Alcantara like seating inserts.
The correct steering wheel.
Weird looking fog lamps.
An improved sound system.
Reasonable gearing.
Negatives:
Unbelievably bad tires. (Tire Rack and Discount Tires must be giving Chevy a kickback to continue using them.)
Impaired choice of exterior colors.
Underpowered (for a sporty car).
Score after one period: 5 to 3

I work for a gm dealership and was researching the rs, tried to order one actually.
Ordering will be available mid august according to the system, pricing for the rs manual is 20200 list and 21485 for the automatic. only options at the moment are a oil heater and sunroof. can be ordered in black, white, red, or grey

I'd call it 5 to 4, can't discount the price difference.
Plus,.. if it's a "sports model" shouldn't it come with the Euro headrests since it's not passenger-oriented?
Kinda makes it 5:5.
(US regulation my ass, the Spark is coming with flush-style headrests!)

Are we sure about the Spark headrests? I ask because the Fiesta ST has been shown with Euro styled Recaro seats and it is apparent that those specific seats will not be the seats for the US market.
The price difference? Between the LTZ and the RS? I expect I would get a bigger discount if I go for the RS than I would for the LTZ, so the price difference would be less than it now appears.

There are pictures of it on the internet. The only thing unique that I can recall is the RS symbol is on the tach, at the bottom on the right.
I do not believe there is any functionality added such as a boost gauge.

Is there any way i could get those foglamps and put them in my ls hatch? the guys at the dealership were thinking it might not work without a whole new harness and a bunch of other stuff. i was hoping to just put them in and replace the old light nob with a foglamp one and get it flashed like my buddy did with his 2012 challenger.

That might be possible. I know a couple guys with LTs had fog lights installed an flashed, but I do not know of any LSs that had it done.

Also, seeing these pictures brought a thought to mind: does the front fascia look longer, top to bottom, than ours? The rear obviously is; perhaps that's why it looks lower than the announced 10mm. Or my eyes could be playing tricks on me.

AZMarine I suspect we will not know the answer until the RS is released after which some of the parts such as the RS fog lamps and steering wheel should be available. That may be a minimum of three months from the week the first RS is assembled.
I had the fog lamps added to my LT by the dealer and I think there was a harness involved as well as a flash of the BMC.
