Is there anyone or any dealership in Michigan willing to do this? I've been to a couple around my area with no luck.
Hi 423,
I understand that the results of having your vehicle flashed are not what you expected. Did you visit a certified GM dealership in order to have this service done? I would like to take a further look into your concern. If I can be of any assistance, please send a PM referencing your concern. I will gladly help to try to find the best solution possible!

My LT is downright dangerous at highway speeds and 40mph gusts of wind I experienced today. Keeping it within a lane is a two handed act of futility even with all the "safety features"shut off. Disappointed to say the least, I guess lowering springs and 17's are the only answer
Edit: I drove my 2002 lifted dodge Dakota today also and the difference in handling is ridiculous, confident and no pucker factor.

The gmandisco post ^ reflects what will be a continuing problem with Chevy Customer Care: the staff is young, talented, and as far as I can tell quite inexperienced. They are in a position to do good things and frequently do.
We know th difficulty getting this flash but CCC does not. We know the reasons for the difficulty but CCC does not.
That being said, we know there is a not subtle as well as significant difference between the steering feel of a non RS and a RS Sonic. It is unmistakable, especially at highway speeds. It is NOT Chevrolet condoned so despite god intention CCA will not be able to help. As I already posted, you gotta love Chevy Customer Care; unfortunately my sense of the ironic does not always get through the internet.
Some members of this forum have successfully gotten this flash.
A hint: every member who has successfully gotten this flash has used an RS Sonic Vehicle Identification Number. To my knowledge no one has gotten the flash without using a Sonic RS VIN. If any non Sonic RS owner has gotten the flash using their own VIN, they have not gotten the flash and have spent their dollars for nothing.

One of the other members here came up with a great idea when we talked last week. If we have any members in the northeast that would be willing to meet up at my shop in CT some weekend, I could flash multiple cars on the one subsciption. So basically, the more people that want to do it, the cheaper it would be. The subscription is $65, so if we can get at least 4 people interested, that's less than $20 each (plus some beer).
