I added a backup camera to my RS. Ordered off of EBay $19 shipped with cables. The lens does not fit but I attached the camera to the chrome on the hatch, about the same position as factory. Interesting thing is that only one wire is necessary to run the camera, except power which comes off of the back up light. The yellow wire in the kit and yellow connection in the plug are all that is required.the other odd part is that the yellow feed wire from the camera has to connect to the yellow ground. The biggest challenge is to run the camera wire. I chose not to disassemble the interior any more than necessary. Works great but took a lot of time.
Can we get a link to item and install pics?
so i will try this again, yesterday lost my response trying to put pics up
the camera and cable are available on ebay, camera kit, item #271036248054 $12.00 + $7 shipping. Cable item #291111835930. $1.47 free shipping.
Don't worry about which camera is ordered as the lens does not fit the sonic. You will remove two small screws and use the camera and wire harness only. I attached the camera to the chrome lift handle with rc servo tape.
The big challenge is running the cable to the glove box. I didn't want to remove all of the trim which would have made it a breeze. There is just enough cable to reach the glove box and a/v jack. The center lead from the yellow camera cable gets attached to the ground of the a/v yellow cable or spliced into the yellow wire on the plug behind the jack. Gm did not leave much harness behind so it is very tight. The power side of the camera is routed to the backup lamp and spliced in to provide power when shifting into reverse. The on / off of the power connection triggers the mylink to switch to video.
Also note that the backup camera does not function when using bringo as the navigation overrides the movie mode.
Since this is where i lost my post last time i will post pictures separately.

I love Mylink, but I'm getting quite a few instances of it being on XM station 1 every time I start up (not a huge deal)...
I have a 2014 RS Hatch. Question on the Tune-In Radio app in the Mylink unit. Pandora works just fine....I have a Galaxy S4 and can't get tune-in to come up in my car with the app. Is the app compatible with only iphone?
I launch the app from Mylink and it initiates tune-in radio on my phone, but then it just sits there and then eventually times out, while tune-in on my phone practically locks up my phone as sometimes it won't let me close the app.

I tested on my Galaxy S4 (Tmobile) on my 2013 Sonic RS and it works. Do a clean install of Tune-in on your phone, make sure it runs on your phone ok first. Once you've established that, then see if it works on Mylink (wait a min or so after it shows up on your app list under the Smartphone linke (on mylink)). If you've already done that, not sure what the problem is.

It runs ok on the phone and in normal bluetooth mode. just not thru the app....I'll try un-install it and re-install it in my phone and give it another try....Thank you
Would it make any difference if the app on my phone is the Tune-in Radio Pro version instead of the basic one?

Tunein works for me (not pro version)... so not sure if that info is correct.
