Cool. thanks for the links. Interesting note, the MyLink software version displayed in the first link (13.01-95358603) is different than the version forum members have reported (13.02-95371037).

Not sure if this is buried in this long thread, but has anyone noticed any excessive 'startup' time for their MyLink system? The other day, it took a good 3 to 4 minutes for my screen to change from the startup MyLink screen. None of the buttons on the unit or steering wheel would allow me to access the system during that time.
After that delay, the unit began working normally and has been working normally since.

Just curious if anyone has a Droid RAZR/RAZR MAXX (and their HD equivilents) as I know these are not supported devices for the BringGo app (at least not yet) and thus Google Play will not allow you to download the app (the US & Canada version anyway). If someone has a Droid RAZR family phone and has a work-around I'd be interested to know.

Got the update. The tech had done one Friday so my stay was about an hour including waiting my turn to get to the service write up person. The icons are there but as T-Mobile sent me the wrong smart phone I will wait until they and I have figured things out to pair the two.

Has anyone gotten there mylink to work with android (jellybean) ??? it worked fine with the iphone i used for a few months but now that i have gotten a new android it wont recognize my phone

What won't work? Pandora via Mylink (rather than just bluetooth-ing it from your phone)? Have you had the Mylink upgrade? My Galaxy S3 (Verizon model) works fine --- bluetooth for calling and voice control on the phone, and Pandora on Mylink works as well. (What I'm still waiting for in Bringgo to be compatible with my phone.)

I can get bluetooth to work for phone, but with the iPhone I would plug in via usb for the Pandora, the vehicle does not recognize my phone via usb, says device is not recognized. Upgrade has not been done yet

The "return to XM 1" paid me a visit twice today. This morning when I was listening to ogg's on USB (side note, thanks GM for offering this capability as I'm one of the 10 people in the world who will probably use it.) I flipped over to XM and it was back on XM 1, changed it to something else, parked the car. When I came back out to the car after work, started it up and it's back on XM 1.
Sometimes upon startup it reverts to a previously played XM (non-1) channel. I haven't noticed anything odd with XM if I don't have a flash drive connected -- not sure if it's that's a cause or if it's just coincidence.
A couple of times it also has forgot what directory I'm trying to play on USB and will revert to the same directory that was being played a few ignition cycles ago.
10.29-95283115 sw version on mine. It needs to go in for the update anyway, hoping that it helps...

Well Pandora link works fine on bluetooth so thanks people, just curious why it doesn't work on USB like my previous iPhone (which I hated)... So with this phone the only thing the usb port is good for is charging my phone.
Also, I have the return to xm 1 all the time and the other day my radio froze with a dim Mylink screen for quite a while finally came back on about half a day later but the dealer could not find any issue

Because you need to tell it to do more than just charge via USB. Default behavior for android is treat its USB port as a dumb port; charge only. As the previous post mentions, there is a config setting to make it do more. This is because allowing your phone to have a smart USB port is less secure that it only being able to charge the phone....

I have already tried the usb debugging settings, this is far from my first Android and is actually the first Android I have not rooted straight out of the box. I do not know if this is an issue of the phone running jellybean (which I doubt it is as someone with an S3 stated theirs was working) or maybe it's an HTC issue. But for whatever reason I can not get the P. O. S. Mylink to recognize my device. I actually plugged my phone into a friends focus and it was recognized straight off the bat.

It would seem to be an oddity if your phone really didn't work because hardware and software wise it's fairly similar to other phones that work. Of course it might not work for your model, it could just be your particular handset...but that would likely be an issue with your USB port....
My aim really is just to say, let's try everything, and if it doesn't work for every single phone of that model, let the community here know.
Most people here seem pretty cool. If you spend all this time banging your head against the wall, maybe we can spare some other folks...

Ahhh then I misunderstood and actually now that I know it all works with bluetooth u am happy again. Now if they could just fix that returning to XM1 bug

No that trip to the dealer waisted 3 hours for them to tell me they lost 1 of their disks and had to reorder one. Infotainment support searched LI for me calling the dealers and only found 1 who had the equipment and software. I made an appointment bit had to wait till yesterday. My wife brought it in for me. It took 2 hours but it was successful and they knew what she was talking about even though it was the 1st one they were doing. She also pointed out how nice they were and they even re paired her phone and went over the update with her to make sure all the apps were there.

The bringgo update PI0914A not only adds bringgo, tunein, and Siri eyes free. It also fixes the xm1 at start up and Bluetooth pairing issues. The latest software version starts with 13.xxxxxxxxx
I had the same problem. Although I just got the update yesterday I haven't had the radio go to xm1 since. The car has only been started 8 times since the update. Ill keep my fingers crossed.
