I regularly use audio from TuneIn, Amazon Cloud Player, etc at the same time while using BringGo. Works fine but for me it goes over the wire, not bluetooth.

On my Galaxy 4s, I can run BringGo (with it's issues) via bluetooth, run Torque App (via bluetooth), select "Bluetooth" for my audio selection, and play whatever I want (Pandora/Amazon MP3/Music Player/Pandora Radio App on my phone/anything with audio).

Just talked to GM Infotainment about CarPlay. The guy I talked to had not even heard the term until today. I informed him of what it was and he checked in with other techs and they said that the engineering team has not briefed them on it yet and to check back in a few weeks.

It was hinted to me that it might just be a matter of a software update. Especially given that the 15' Sonic seems to have the same head unit in all the pics I have seen so far. I will post any updates when I get them.

Hey guys so I just got a iPhone 5s. It doesn't fully pair up. The Bluetooth icon turns on but I can't choose to play music through it. I can however make a phone call on Bluetooth. This is strange. It's no big deal since I always play music from my iPod via USB but I would just like to know if this has happened to anyone.

While doing it yesterday, it was super choppy, overloaded the phone via bluetooth. So much for doing that anymore.

So I got into my car to head to lunch and happened to look at my radio and low and behold...all my presets are set to 0 my clock was way off, the date was 1/1/2006 and the smart link is not connected but the blue tooth is.....Any time I hit the volume up on my steering wheel it auto dials my wife, -_- WTF to that.... and apparently there is a new radio station of 3.33mhz .....

Your car is a time machine, don't complain. What kind of music do they play on 3.33mhz? no seriously that sucks.

Did shutting the car off, wait a minute, and turn it back on fix it? Or is it still messed up? Maybe it was just a glitch.

Hey, that's CHU Canada - no music - just time signals all the time from Canada's official atomic clock. :banana: Makes me want to fire up the shortwave radio...

Seriously though, I too predict a new MyLink unit as well. Bizarre.

Sorry to hear you are having this concern. I would suggest you take it into your Chevrolet dealership as well. Due to the fact it did not return to original settings from the reset. This is a common issue after a Mylink update to get the Tunein / BringGo functionality. If you put the car in reverse you may have gotten a "SERVICE BACKUP CAMERA" notice flat square in the middle.

If you are able to power down the radio completely, so that it does th MyLink Splash screen, it normally will revert back to working (all presets, correct year, time, etc). Mine did this on the 2nd MyLink radio AFTER a suscessful update (about 3 days after)... I pulled the fuse to reset the radio, and now 9 months later... it hasn't done it again. I don't trust the dealership to reflash the Mylink (and I keep getting notices from Chevy re: "Software enhancement for your 2013 Chevy Sonic RS MyLink"--- NO thank you).

Nothing to do with the current convo but, I've never been successful at setting presets for FM radio. I've tried various times I just gave up months ago.

Wha? Tune to desired frequency, hold down desired preset location at the bottom, beep, stored... AM, FM, XM - they can all be mixed in.

If you don't want to clutter up your XM presets with the garbage that is terrestrial radio but still want some presets for occasional listening, I've found it handy to switch the to auto store tab when on AM or FM and manually set them there.

Thanks. I know it's a simple task but I remember the first few times I tried something like that but I wasn't successful. I'll try again today. I just have two stations I like to tune in to. No XM anymore, I only liked the watercolors station.

Weird thing, went to my car to go home last night, everything was back to normal...wondering if the sudden heat up caused some freaky internal issues with the HU. I haven't gone in for any updates since I picked the car up in Dec. I know from experience It will be hard to take it in for service when its working...next time it happens will drive it straight to the dealer.

I have tried to make it clear that my iphone 5 can indeed send pandora, iTunes or any other audio via Bluetooth while the phone is connected via USB and running Bringo. People want to tell me I'm wrong, so screw it. That is how I use my iphone 5.
Now Bluetooth does not auto connect properly which is the issue that GM is working on for me. If hard connected via iPhone it stays connected properly.

Well I tried it on my phone. You are indeed wrong. While you are plugged in to the USB port you are sending ALL info through the USB port. I can listen to pandora while using bringgo yet the Bluetooth audio is NOT an option. I'm sure the telephone still works through Bluetooth but not the audio.
