Well I tried it on my phone. You are indeed wrong. While you are plugged in to the USB port you are sending ALL info through the USB port. I can listen to pandora while using bringgo yet the Bluetooth audio is NOT an option. I'm sure the telephone still works through Bluetooth but not the audio.

Yes, this is what happens. It still shows the Bluetooth icon in the top right because it still uses that connectivity for phone calls, but all music audio data is sent over the cable behind the data being viewed for Bringo. It is physically impossible to choose Bluetooth as an Aux option when an iPhone is plugged into the USB.

If you can do this, it's just another notch to add to the list of random MyLink glitches, because you shouldn't be able to.

well the heat theory went out the window...got in my car to go to work this morning and threw in reverse and had the "Rear View something something system not working" pop up, and my clock was way off.. the onstar icon was a no show and all my buttons where doing something different than what I wanted.....

Maybe you should take a video of it. Just in case it decides to work normal while your at the dealership. That way you don't get the "no problem found" or "could not duplicate" answer.

Unfortunately it's time for a dealership visit to have them attempt a reflash of your Mylink.

mylink radio updated and still having issues with the radio not powering up after car is started . last night after a 2 hour drive car was restarted radio showed a faint picture of the startup screen but wouldnt come on stuff of car opend door restarted car radio powered up and no sound at all i guess another trip to fix the radio

MyLink Updates Today

Took the '13 Sonic LTZ turbo in for oil change, etc today.

Had them look into the MyLink because: The presets randomly disappear, outside temp not showing randomly, putting the car in reverse shows a screen that says "backup camera service needed" even though there is no backup camera, and volume up on the steering wheel shows a bluetooth compatibility issue...

They just called back and said they updated the software on the system. Hopefully that will help. Just a lot of weird random issues I thought.

On the short drive home the issues seemed to be gone.. But they were off and on before so we shall see.

I'll have to try my iphone with 7.1 in a bit. Didn't have the lightning cable in the car on the drive home.

BringGo Freezes

2014 Sonic RS w/MyLink, bluetooth connected to Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Sonic bought two days ago and BringGo app is latest version.

When I run Bring Go, the app starts navigating on MyLink, but randomly freezes after just a few minutes. After rebooting the app on both the phone and MyLink, the app on MyLink remembers my destination from before, will start navigating, but freezes again within a couple minutes.

Has anybody seen this problem or know of any solutions?

Solved it when I updated my Note 3 to Kit Kat (it was on Jelly Bean 4.3).

It might not say your directions out loud to you, but the nav map will still show up on your radio.

Okay I searched and searched this thread specifically but nothing seems to hint at my problem. I have a iPhone 5 sync phonebook but when I receive a call it's the persons number not name. But I can click phonebook and it shows the name????

Anyway to make it show the name instead of number when receiving a call?

And the 2500 song limit is crazy. There isn't really a reason to have larger than a 4-8gb flash drive.

Mine does the same, im guessing you have to transfer the number into the mylink system... And i cant be bothered lol

My phone book is in the system still shows the number instead of name when calling.

I have a 160gig ipod, that is pretty much full, hooked up to the MyLink in my Sonic. While it only will display 2500 songs under the "song" menu I can access all the songs not available with the "album" or "artist" menu. I am pretty sure it will play songs it won't display when in shuffle songs mode.
I wonder if I am limited to 2500 artists and 2500 albums??

Mine does not show any extra under artist or album least not that I have noticed lol.
