VCP exhaust?

I'm not bashing your company or product like you have came on here doing to a paying vender. Hell, I even fixed a busted link you linked to your own company! And yes you are new to the Sonic community and there new to us in general and it sounds like you might have been in competition with DDM for some time now judging from your knowledge of their product, manufacturing processes and materials.
On a side note, I think your exhaust looks nice and I actually like the integrated resonator and cat delete. If you had a sedan exhaust would I ever own one after this thread..... absolutely not. But that's my choice as a end user. If you would have just left the fact that you work for VCP a secrete and did product placement as a "end user" it might have worked out better for you. Good luck!

Regardless of whether or not you just tarnished this brand (and if you aren't affiliated you might want to hide from them), I would just get another custom exhaust from a shop where I can get stainless steel mandrel bent pipe and pay 180 installed. That sounds better than 550.

I quoted your posts so you don't try to pretend you didn't say it. You're literally bashing DDMWorks, saying that they're craftsmanship is cheap, quick, dirty, and inferior.
Also, the first cat is built into the downpipe. Test pipe for that? Doubtful. Catless downpipe? Believable.

As one of the first forum members to opt for the DDMWorks cat back I feel compelled to state this: the product is Solo Performance including resonator and if I had the muffler I am certain that too would be Solo Performance. The quality of the materials and the welding drew positive comments from both my mechanics who did the install (at age 66 I do very little on my cars these days) and from the people at Rodgers Chevrolet who installed the Pedders lowering coils. Now that I think about it, even the ZZP people had positive comments about the quality.
I believe it is ok in general for a manufacturer to say my product is better than yours but to make statements about a competitors products that are blatantly untrue is wrong. But in a country that prizes freedom of speech that is their right; of course a person in possession of facts (such as me) also has a right to respond.
Consider this my exercising my right to respond.

Where's Sonic when you need him? LOL I believe this thread could be closed so we don't keep beating a dead horse. Laborsmith and Eric said it best: bashing is NO way to make people want your product. I vote for skydiver1 to be banned for peddling his own wares on here without a vendor account AND bashing the competitor. And not being able to spell. 
I agree that the VCP exhausts look damn good as far as the workmanship and welding goes, but until we have someone gamble and report back positive results, they're not going to get any love on here. We stick with things we know work and are of good quality, which DDM certainly hits on both counts.

I know this thread is old and there has been some confusion about who said what, but I have been in touch with Van who owns VIP (VCP) and he stated his company didn't take any part in this thread. After emailing back and forth and a good phone call, I decided to test this exhaust out. I should have it next week. I purchased the sport version which comes with the test pipe. If anyone is interested Ill post up pics and comments.

I inquired with them about the intake on their website but they said that the sales numbers were too low for sonic parts and it wouldn't be released. I guess sales would be low if they weren't advertising their parts on the best/only sonic forum on the web.
We're always interested in having more options for parts.

They do a ton of Mini parts. When I called to talk to Van they were in the middle of retooling for a bunch of Mini parts. He mentioned they they don't generally get involved with forums because they don't like to get bogged down in flame wars. He wasn't aware of this thread and thanked me. If the quality is as good as the pics on the web show, plus the fact that it is made with 400 series stainless and includes the test pipe on the sport version...it could be the best bang for the buck exhaust for our car besides having a custom one made. The local shop here wanted $250 for aluminized pipe and a resonator and that didn't even include the test pipe area. Can't wait to see it...hope its as good as it looks.

I would have started a new thread to post that you're picking it up and going to give it a shot. Someone that worked for them or is very close to their company called out our venders, lost the fight and then disappeared and that is all in this thread. I think the stuff looks nice and another 2.5" exhaust option other than custom would be nice.

I thought about starting another thread but figured I would continue this one since there was so much debate about this company and if it was someone that worked for them bashing DDM, which it turns out it wasn't. Apparently it was the person who they made the first Sonic system for. I have no reason not to believe them especially seeing how they make parts for other makes and seem to be pretty successful at it. So hopefully this thread will end on a good note with us having another vendor to go to and not me being out 500+ $$$.
