Warranty covered suspension issue

Just a quick update,.......The dealer here in RI finally got to the bottom of the clunking noise in my Sonic. After the first visit, they said they fixed it by lubing the suspension. I did not even make it home and the clunking was back. After a very "Firm" phone call I made another apointment and took it back today. They replaced the left sway bar link and I think they finally got it right! So far no more noise after driving over 50 miles. I just hope this will not be an on going issue.

I had the clunking on my LTZ starting at about 8,000 miles. Had the dealer check it out when I took the car in for an oil change. The problem was a sway bar link. It took about an hour to get the part to the dealer and I was on my way soon after. Everything's nice and tight now. Just like it should be.

For me it was the front stabilizer end links on both sides. Seems like a lot of these car has this issue. I was told i was the fourth customer with this problem.

was this clunking noise you guys talk about only over about 30-35 mph? I have more what I would call a rattle or a strange 'paper tearing' noise. Seems to only happen above 30/35 and is only really noticeable on 'sustained' bumps (so like those squiggly tar patchs on the highway it will make a constant sort of tearing noise, rattling noise) it is very strange...only on the drive side front tire btw...even weirder. Hard to replicate consistently but I think I wanna take it in before my warranty is up...well...got a ways to go but whatever.

Dropped my car off yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation at 25k (first one done by the dealership, it is 117+ in Phoenix now so I am not doing that in the driveway) and they replaced the swaybar links under warranty.

Mines at all speeds but today the dashboard developed a rattle but I'm not concerned because I'm getting rid of it
