Yes but gm parts direct are parts that are flawed and or sratch and dent. To make it look right you would also need #20 on both sides. And for all four pieces it's $66 ill just pay the $78 for gm parts frome my dealer.

They had a dispute with my friend who works at a gm dealer in parts over a bumper cover he called and ask why they $260 less he was told they were take offs or parts that are ok but not the best quality and never made it the line.

I've never had an issue with their parts. inexpensive parts; they just charge a little more than they should for shipping, but it's still cheaper than going to the dealer.

also, he could have been talking about one model of bumper covers.

I am dumping my injen and trying this mod this weekend. Gonna combine it with a better airfilter. Hopefully wont have to redo my tune since the injen is barely an improvement over stock.

Ill have to find other uses for it if it goes well. Maybe ill stick it on my snow-blower.

Here's a twist -- what if one would use a dremel and cut out the plastic on the fake vents so there was an actual vent into the fender well? A piece of screen on the back for FO prevention and you have a whole lot more cool air moving in. One could leave the stock tubing in place or simply disconnect it at the box with maybe a screen for a second layer of FO protection. No water worries with this one.

May also throw a twist on it with some brake duct vents from pitstipusa.com intercooler diverter from ddm works. Ill do a write up when the time comes.

So a great surprise today. I have extreme anxiety so after buying Christmas yesturday for my wife I beat my self almost to crazy thinking my wife would hate them. She has a love for coffee and it may sound cheap but I got her coffee that wasn't on my list. Any way I had wore her out so much she opened them early to ease my fears. Btw he presents were a big hit. But to make a long story she then unlocks her car and tells me to go out to her trunk. There they were.... My foe fog lights. I had left the price quotes on our computer desk. So she went and bought them. I love my wife cause she gets me the best stuff. And I heard from my brother that I also got the black window trim. Hes autistic so he says I'm just tellin the truth.

I'm going to be routing a air intake from the pass side and a cooling tube from the drivers side. Ill be removing the hood gasket and cooling the engine bay with fresh air from the fog lights. Sorry if my post wasn't up to your par. But if you had read a little more you would have known.

It rained a lot today and It ran great

Completed this mod today on the 1.8l. There is additional piece on the intake (a resonator box) at the curve in the stock composite intake tube. Just removed this piece.

the pic below shows how I attached the flex tube to run out of the inbox, I had to grind off 2 tabs to get it to seal.

On the back of the fog-light blank I attached an intake adaptor held on by two stainless bolts (the nuts have the teflon inserts so they wont back out) then sealed with black silicone.

I used a dremel on low speed with a roto-zip style bit to grind out the ports on the fake grilles on the fog lamp blanks.

Finally I re-assembled the bumper and connected the tube by putting the fog light back in last, I accessed the tube through the wheel well to position it correctly. (I will probably paint the screws black ot match the rest of the trim)

I didnt add any additional anti-siphon, there are two small holes at the bottom of the airfilter box, one at the entrance and one at the lowest point, I did increase the size one at the lowest point slightly with a small file.

We had a rainstorm last night so I took the sonic out for a drive (I had to clear 2 codes because I first forgot to plug the MAF back in, then forgot to re-attach the temp sensor in the bumper...)

I purposely tailgated people, drove through puddles, and ran on wet freeway in a nice steady rain between 70-90MPH. Then drove another 15 or 20 mins back home. I pulled the airfilter out and was pleased to find it was bone dry. There was some water on the front of the fog lamp area, but most of the intake tube was also dry, no water had made it up past the first bend.

I love this idea and want to do it, but I started thinking about snow and ice build up blocking the vent.
