It probably won't work. If it does it will probably only worked while stopped in park or with the parking brake on on manuals. As soon as you try to move it will most likely shut off.

The video part of the display tends to work up to 4-5mph before it blocks out the screen. I know because I have done it waiting in line in construction, if I idle really slowly, it will not shut off. I have not tried reverse.

I thought I read that autos need to be in park, manuals need to be stopped with the parking brake on. I could be wrong. I only played with the video option once over a year ago. I was parked in my driveway.
Maybe to start the video, I can't remember if I had my ebreak on when I was in line and let it off to roll forward or if I just used the break pedal. But I am sure it stayed playing until I got moving more than a few mph.

It seems as though our mylink goes by the speed of the car and not if the park break is on or not.
If I'm correct, this was done to make it more difficult to bypass/hack.

Sadly, no. I have a small wireless keyboard / touchpad about the size of a TV remote that I was using. Use of the touchscreen would require some very creative software and / or hardware *******.
If someone could reverse engineer the connection used for BringGo then I'm sure software could be written to allow another device such as a Raspberry Pi to interface via USB with touch control. I'm not really a programmer though so there may be something I'm missing.

If you have your car in reverse and the backup camera comes up on the mylink if you tap on the screen it will pop settings up to adjust the brightness and contrast I think what it is lol

Southern... I'm more southern than you I'm from Texas originally. lol. But lived in Tennessee longer than there so. Might have rubbed off.

Knew about the hatch cover for awhile but i didnt know i had a strap to secure stuff in the trunk until i took out the spare and seen it

Southern... I'm more southern than you I'm from Texas originally.
I just find the "southern accents" interesting.. I've only ever heard them on TV because we get a lot of American TV shows so I watched a lot growing up. And I live in Kentucky and in the City you don't hear the Accent now they kinda have a Midwest accent here.
