I've compared both and the holes for the engine mount bolts are different, and I believe that the 6t30 is only for the 1.8 and the 6t40/6t45 is used for various engines

Ok, so you've determined that you need engine mounts.
Now you need to look at electronics, from the PCM to the ABS sensors and airbag sensors.... Everything is different.
Don't forget piping to hook up the cooling system.
Or new axles for that new transmission.

I'm in the middle of this with my 86 Fiero, I'm putting in a new engine and retaining the factory manual transmission, a swap that has already been done hundreds of times before, and it is still very difficult.
You are trying to do a swap that has never been done, not only an engine swap, but a tranny swap too.
