My mylink is working again all the sudden but now qhen i put my car in revrse it says service rear view monitoring system. Im still gonna have them replace it just to make sure it doesnt go out on me again.
If they have already done a few, 30 minutes seems right to me.

At what point does MyLink for the Sonic and the Spark become a joke?
Went to the dealer (Bellevue Chevrolet), to have myLink updated so that I can use the Bringgo, and also to have some parts/accessories installed, got back a few hours after and they said all the requests have been done, parts instaled, myLink radio updated. I checked on the MyLink to see if Bringgo is there, to my surprise, not a single app is showing on the smartphone link screen. No Bringgo, no Pandora and Sticher (which both was there before the upgrade). Went back to talk to the tech guy who performed the update, I had the feeling that he didn't know what I was talking about, I remember him asking me if Pandora and Sticher was there by default when I bought the car. Of course I said yes... so he said he will need the car to be checked in again and might take the whole day (or maybe indefinite), so he can call GM and troubleshoot with them.
By the way, I am also using iPhone 4S and is also experiencing the phone getting disconnected often, usually when you start the car, my phone automatically connects, then it gets disconnected when I try to play music, then auto reconnects, and then the music plays. But after the update, it just goes to a connect/disconnect cycle.
And also, after the radio update, I am also seeing the "service rear view..." then doing a reverse. I have an after market rear view mirror which displays the backup camera view (it was installed as part of the deal when i bought my 2013 Sonic LTZ). Does this mean we can now use the touchscreen for viewing a backup camera?

I just had the update done last week (they blew up the mylink and had to replace the radio). 2 days after the update I got this message when I went to back up, and the entire radio when haywire. Volume down on the steering wheel made my cellphone attempt to redial the last call I made (outside of the car)... No control over the radio (was stuck on XM, last station I was listening to). I attempted to shut off the radio, no joy. It will go to the time display (which BTW was shown as 8:00 PM, 1/1/2006 -- It was 7:45 am (5/10/2013)...)
From there I discovered that it attempts to use the FM signal @ 25. Mhz... not 88.25-107.25 ... but 00.25 Mhz....
Also, the door chime does not come on with the key in, nor does the radio ever lose power (it will shut off when the door opens, but you can hit the power button and it will stay on.... shut the driver's door, lock with the FOB, and the radio will stay on.... FOREVER). After about giving up, I was able to get the radio to RESET--- "GM Mylink" display comes on.... and BOOM, radio is fine, back to where it was before... no service backup camera, nada... Then, after the next stop/power off... it does it again. Something is screwed up. Also I can see Pandora, Tunein, Stitcher, BringGo US/CA, Korea, etc, etc.. about 8-9 different BringGo country options plus a display/screen test app (none of those are on my phone, so naturally they cannot be brought up to try). I have taken pictures of all of this, plus doing a write up on all the different symptoms. Seems like the Mylink needs to be reset to work (cut the damn power when it's suppose to please.) Also the onstar is corrupted when it is in that mode (doesn't work, tried the SOS and everything). I love the car, but hate the radio....
I'll call tomorrow to setup appt with the same dealership that swapped in this radio.... Not confident with this setup at all... I'm at 1200 miles... what will this thing do in 5k miles? 15k? Will it make it to 100k ? Lemon ?
I'll be needing a rental car now that this is all I have to drive. Chevy better fix this problem.

Not liking the reviews of the MyLink update I see here. I'm at the dealer waiting on my update so I can have navigation for my road trip coming up. They didn't seem to know of any update, so we will see what happens.
